The Cargo Lots tab displays the cargo lots associated with the selected bill of lading item. When you save a BL item, N4 creates the default cargo lot for the BL item and lists it in the Cargo Lots tab. You can double-click a cargo lot to access the Cargo Lot Inspector (on page 1) and view more details about the selected cargo lot.

The Facility field displays the facility for the manifested cargo lots. If the cargo lots are on a vessel, N4 displays the vessel’s facility in the Facility column. If the cargo lots are in the yard, N4 displays the yard’s facility in the Facility column. You can create a filter to prevent users from viewing the cargo lots of another facility using the Facility field. For default cargo lots and cargo lots manifested on general carrier visits, such as Gen Vessel, Gen Train, and Gen Truck, the Facility column will be null.

If the cargo lots are on a vessel, N4 displays the vessel’s facility in the Facility column. If the cargo lots are in the yard, N4 displays the yard’s facility in the Facility column.

If you want to prevent users from viewing the cargo lots of another facility, create a filter based on the Facility field using the Filter Criteria in the Cargo Lots view (on page 1).

In addition, you can perform the following Actions on selected cargo lots on this tab:

N4 records the adjustment as a discrepancy against the selected cargo lot record.

To view this Actions menu item, you need to assign the Cargo Lot - Print Barcode (on page 1) privilege to your user role.
